Yesterday my oldest daughter had her birthday party and I took portraits of all the guests. This was my favorite of my daughter. I just absolutely love it. And while I had thought that I would use a 3/4 or fully body shot to avoid the huge head issue, I just love it too much.

A sweet moment...

Practice, practice, practice...
Took the girls out for more practice, and yes they are sick of it! But as soon as Boozilla met the grafitti wall, the additude came leaping out of her!
Dogwood blossoms
I have always loved Dogwood trees. The Dogwoods we have in California are a little different. Here in Virginia was the first time I had seen this pale green blossom. Love this shot so much it's now my desktop. The weather has been so grey lately that I need a little but of beauty as I sit at my display. Thats "monitor" in Mac talk for you PC people. :o)

This is one big head!
I ordered a 16x20 gallery wrapped canvas of the Boozilla. It arrived today and I am in love with it! But that is one big head to have hanging on a wall. Lesson learned, use a full body or 3/4 shot next time. Now I'm off to take a suitable photo of my older daughter. Can't show favoritism.

Happy Birthday/Easter!
My daughter's birthday fell on Easter this year so of course she needed a bunny cake! Unfortunately we all have evidence that I need to step away from the pastry bag. That or find a different buttercream icing recipe. What a disaster... but in the end my baby liked it and that's all that really matters.
