I ordered a 16x20 gallery wrapped canvas of the Boozilla. It arrived today and I am in love with it! But that is one big head to have hanging on a wall. Lesson learned, use a full body or 3/4 shot next time. Now I'm off to take a suitable photo of my older daughter. Can't show favoritism.

Happy Birthday/Easter!
My daughter's birthday fell on Easter this year so of course she needed a bunny cake! Unfortunately we all have evidence that I need to step away from the pastry bag. That or find a different buttercream icing recipe. What a disaster... but in the end my baby liked it and that's all that really matters.

Free steam facials!
At the base of the Washington Monument. The steam was pouring out and the kids were having so much fun running through it. Boo declared that it stunk like "old oatmeal" which garnered a few laughs from some passing teenagers.

No Cherry Blossoms
But we did find a few other trees in full bloom in Washington, DC yesterday. Jewels (waves) and I headed north into the big city hoping to catch the cherry trees at their projected peak, however, the rain and wind of Tuesday night knocked all the cherry blossoms off, so we were a bit dissapointed. We managed to salvage the day and still got some great shots.

Too Sunny!
I know better than to try to shoot at high noon, BUT... we were driving past a beautiful golden field and she had on the perfect dress. Poor thing has her eyes closed in all the photos. This one cracks me up though.
