But we did find a few other trees in full bloom in Washington, DC yesterday. Jewels (waves) and I headed north into the big city hoping to catch the cherry trees at their projected peak, however, the rain and wind of Tuesday night knocked all the cherry blossoms off, so we were a bit dissapointed. We managed to salvage the day and still got some great shots.

Willow, that shot rocks. Totally kicks butt. I love the brightness of it.
Too bad about the cherry blossoms. On the up side, I just discovered I have two of those dogwood tree thingies! One in the front yard, and a second in the back!
